Yes, you heard me right. We're talking about the Official Netlabel Pimping Quest, taking place at here.
The idea of the Quest was to build up our netlabel's site again from the scratch. I had been extremely annoyed with the old layout and all the bugs for some time, when I finally got an actual visual designer to work with me on our site. Now, we've released the brand spanking new version of it and it's lookin stunning, in my honest opinion at least. The Quest continues, however. Apart from the actual site, we have to change the looks on various other sites of ours around the world wide web. The MySpace has already been taken care of - doing CSS in MySpace is always such a delight - and the Community site is almost finished as well. We'll set our sights next on Blogger and Virb - which are supposably a kazillion times easier projects, thanks to their mighty fine editors.
As we are quite happy with the results of our work - at the moment at least - it would be superneat to get some feedback on how we've succeeded in our mission. What do you think?

What are we doing?
Dearest blog,
there's quite a lot happening in our very own DBR-world at the moment. Yesterday we released a brand new album by Mr. Moods - titled In Love We Trust... And We Hate - and I must admit that it's propably me who's listening to it most actively, at this very moment too. It's really quite good - exceptionally so, I might say. There are some delicious darker tones mixed with sweet'n'soft grooves, basically just the direction I'd love to see us developing into. Instrumental hip-hop at its very best, to say the least.
We're building a new version of our site as well. Now I was pretty happy with our current looks - it's not astonishing by any means, but pretty decent anyway - until I started talking with a colleague of mine about it. Now I can't wait to see the improved version of it. Apart from the new visuals we don't have too many changes, some improvements to the usability and content of course. Being a web designer, I'm feeling very excited, because in the near future we will be having some pretty unique features on our site. Of course, serving great music remains as our number one priority, but I'm really very anxious to develope some extra-musical features as well. Just to give you a hint of what's coming: something to do with desktops and applications. There, I've said it.
In the meanwhile, when I'm not working on either my dayjob or DBR, I'm cuurently watching Lost for the second time. And it just keeps getting better. Can't wait until next February.
