Video kills the netlabel star... No!

So, here it is, the first music video for The Slowdowns and at the same time the first for Dirtybird Rexx.

It's a video for the song "The Land of the Midnight Sun" from The Slowdowns' soon coming Subliminal EP.

It's simply a story of a bagheaded girl who can't find her place in a town (or a world) like this. The girl in the video and me worked mostly just together, moving around the city, improvising and following the story quite freely. She acted, I had the camera.

We filmed it as early as this March, in Rovaniemi, Lapland. It took us one weekend to take all the pictures and the editing took me, uh well, way longer than that. Anyway, now it's finished and available to see in our main page. It's visually nothing super fancy, but I'm glad we did it, and it's at least a start. No doubt, new videos will follow - no doubt, from various Dirtybird artists.

And all hail the busdrivers! At least this one had the clearest eye for drama.
